You have a very well thought out set of plans. I like the spontaneous writing, too.
In my other career everything, every minute, was planned. The song playing ends in :47 seconds or whatever. You have to be ready. You'll need to promote something (often an event), and they don't like you to speak for more than :30 seconds, and in that :30 seconds you also need to tease the next set of songs. And personally, I liked to make it at least a little funny.
I retired in 2013 after 25 years. And now? I blunder through the day doing whatever I want. Today I watched some Olympics while waiting for the NBA game to start, and looked up how long until spring training for baseball begins. Later I read some history and some Rumi. I roughed out a new poem. I planned nothing, not even dinner. I just cooked what I found in the kitchen. Later, I started a Bad Bunny playlist.
I respect planners, truly. I even married to one, but not me, man. Today my Google Calendar tells me what games are on.
Thanks Jobe. I have been blundering through without too much planning for a while now, but I have also been intending to get stuff done and just never got around to it. This plan looks tougher than it is because I have actually already completed most of the work. I am fairly good at starting projects - but I am terrible at seeing them though to completion.
When I was working it was the same. I would write the major part a report - or do some other tedious task - and then forget about the polishing it up and sending it in part.
I just want to get these tasks out of the way and go back to one thing at a lime - when I feel like it.
Your output seems pretty solid on here. so you must be doing something right.
As for marrying planners, you should meet Judy. She is prodigious, and our shared Mac/iPhone calendar is a wonder to behold. My contribution is usually just to click on all the notifications to say that I have read them, before blundering on with my own stuff!
Crikey, I couldn't tell you what I'm doing after lunch most days. It's fascinating to look in on an organisedd mind that thrives on schedule. My polar opposite. I make arrangements where necessary, like music rehearsal, or events. As to my writing - it is fuelled by that something beyond that lives beyond our ken, which is not an open invitation for a silly joke but you've already made one, haven't you. It's a(nother) marvelous sounding venture Mike. I look forwards to seeing this new new wave of print
Wow!
You have the energy of the Twelve Labours in you Mike. Your mind is massed, launch sequence initiated. Please remember to breathe. 😌

Cheers Alex. I’m only organised when I realise that I’m losing my grip in the chaos. Normally I rely on just getting around to things.
Wow Mike, that's some plan. Most people approaching 65 would be thinking of slowing down!
I'm glad you're not ❤️
Thanks Jenni. It’s great being retired, you can do what you like.
Wow Mike that’s amazing, hope you’ve got time for a coffee etc soon
Roger, the month of March is devoted to you! (actually from 23rd of Feb - but minus the bits where I will be celebrating Judy's Birthday!))
That’s fine
we’re having a new kitchen fitted at the moment so everything is a bit upside down 🤦♂️ I’ll be in touch when I’m free and when we’re back straight
Incredible Mike! Thanks for all you do ❤️
